VOYA operates withvoya.com as an independent travel advisory. This page explains what we collect when you visit or contact us, who else receives that data, and how to reach us about it.
Information you give us
We only collect what you type into a form. Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, and the details of the trip you are considering; our newsletter form asks only for an email address. We also record which page you submitted from, so we know what prompted you to get in touch.
Form submissions are stored with our hosting provider (Netlify) and our database provider (Supabase). We use them to reply to you and to keep track of your enquiry. We do not sell them, and we do not pass them to third parties for their own marketing.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use analytics to understand which pages are useful. These tools set cookies and collect technical data such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), browser and device type, referring site, and the pages you view.
- Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager — page views, sessions and traffic sources, in aggregate.
- Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session recordings. This records how you move, scroll and click through pages. Clarity masks text you type into form fields by default, but you should be aware that your on-page behaviour is recorded.
- Google Search Console — which search queries lead to our pages. This is aggregated by Google and never identifies individuals.
We do not currently show a cookie consent banner. These tools load on every page visit. If you would prefer not to be measured, most browsers let you block third-party scripts and cookies, and both Google and Microsoft offer opt-outs.
Affiliate links and commission
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up for a membership or make a booking after following one, we may be paid a commission by the merchant or by an affiliate network acting on their behalf. This never changes the price you pay.
We are an independent affiliate and advisory business. We are not an agent, representative or official channel of any hotel group or membership programme, and nothing on this site should be read as an official statement by them.
As a travel advisor, we also earn commission from hotels and travel suppliers on bookings we arrange. Our recommendations are our own, but you should assume a commercial relationship exists wherever we suggest booking through us.
Third parties who receive data
- Netlify — hosting; receives your IP address in server logs, plus form submissions.
- Supabase — database; stores enquiry and newsletter records.
- Google — Tag Manager, Analytics, Search Console, and fonts.
- Microsoft — Clarity analytics.
- Affiliate networks — when you click an affiliate link, the network records the click in order to attribute any resulting sale.
- Image and content delivery networks — hotel photography is served through a third-party CDN, which receives your IP address as part of delivering the image.
How long we keep things
Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them to serve you, including for repeat travel. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's own settings and policies.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we will honour those requests regardless of where you are.
Write to travel@withvoya.com and we will respond.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change what we collect or who receives it, we will update this page and the date at the top.
